Endnote X3 & X4 - Find full text options

The latest versions of Endnote can be set up to automatically check for and download full text from saved citations, using the library's OpenURL Link Resolver and Ezproxy authentication.

Setup:
• Go to the Edit menu (or the EndNote X3 menu on a Mac) and select Preferences
• Select 'Find Full Text'
• Tick the OpenURL box
• For the OpenURL path enter: http://oxfordsfx.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/oxford
• For the ezproxy path enter: http://ezproxy.bodleian.ox.ac.uk:2048/login
• Click on the 'apply' button

Please note: Full text will not always be available. Possible reasons include lack of availability, and incompatibility between Endnote and the journal website.

Preconfigured connection files currently available for downloading for Oxford users

Due to the differences between the various versions of EndNote there is no guarantee that these files will all work with all versions.
