Oxford Forest Information Service

Oxford Forest Information Service (OFIS) works with global partners to make the OULS forestry collections available to the widest possible audience. They comprise some 200,000 printed items and 4000 reels of microfilm, and all are fully abstracted by CABI in its Forest Science Database  (previously known as TREECD), which acts as a detailed catalogue of our holdings from 1939 to date. Earlier material is covered in card catalogues, also distributed to libraries worldwide on microfilm. The developing Oxford Digital Library for Forestry provides access to an increasing range of forest-related resources not otherwise available online. Initially this  includes  complete sets of the Oxford Forestry Institute's publication series Occasional Papers and Tropical Forestry Papers, and the complete back run of the Commonwealth Forestry Association's Empire/Commonwealth/International Forestry Review from 1922.
