Study, Training and Social Areas in the RSL
The Radcliffe Science Library contains a variety of spaces to suit your needs: quiet, formal study areas, informal areas to relax, places to eat and drink.
Study Areas
The RSL has numerous study areas of varying types:
- The reading rooms are for quiet study. Four (Levels 5 -- 8) are above ground, two (Levels 2 & 3) are below ground.
- The Lounge on Level 4, just off the Entrance Hall, and provides a comfortable setting for group and private study.
- Level 6 Zone, a relaxed space at one end of Level 6.
- The Group Study Room, a bookable space for collaborative study.
- The Abbot's Kitchen Training Room is available for group or individual study when not in use for training.
Training facilities
The Abbot's Kitchen houses a well equipped training room which is available for hire by University departments and organisations, companies and charities outside the University
