Two new RIN (Research Information Network) surveys are open for contribution.
The first aims to investigate the experiences of supervisors with respect to their research students' (PhD,DPhil etc) knowledge and skills in information handling.
The second looks at the experiences of UK research students (PhD, DPhil, etc. but not Masters-level students) with respect to a particular aspect of research: the information handling skills and knowledge required in their subject.
The start date of the surveys (and hence prize draw entry) is 23rd February 2011. The intended closing date is 25th March 2011, though this may be extended to allow for further survey responses. The surveys should take 15-25 minutes to complete. And participants will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw for a £100 Amazon voucher.
Please read the full details of the surveys, including who is eleigible to enter, terms of entry, prizes, etc. before completing either of the surveys..
