Over the coming weeks, Oxford University Computing Service is undertaking work to upgrade the University network. This will necessitate periods where library services dependent on these networks may not be available.

On the following dates, networked library services may be unavailable until 11:30am:

  • Tuesday 26 June
  • Tuesday 7 August
  • Thursday 9 August

(List of dates revised 29 June)

Services affected:

  • SOLO
  • Library computers
  • Wireless and wired (ethernet) connections
  • PCAS

There may also be delays in delivering material from offsite. The Bodleian Libraries Admissions Department will still operate during the affected periods, though delays may occur (see www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/services/admissions for further information).

In addition, networked library services may not be available until 11.30am in the Alexander and Sherardian Libraries on Tuesday 31 July.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this necessary work may cause.
