e-Resources

Science and Medicine are exceptionally well served by electronic resources, by University members anwhere within the University network, and outside via the Single Sign On system. For full details of how that works, see the Bodleian Libraries' Remote Access page.

SOLO

SOLO is our primary search and discovery tool for the Oxford Libraries' vast collections of resources. A simple search box will bring back results from a number of different sources, currently Oxford's union catalogue of printed and electronic books and journals, ORA (Oxford University Research Archive), the Bodleian Library Allegro Chinese and Allegro Japanese catalogues and a title link to the 1,000+ databases on OxLIP+.

OxLIP+

The OxLIP+ gateway provides access to a wide range of databases by subject, title or keyword.  Databases are accessed automatically within Oxford University. Members of the university can access these databases remotely by using the University Single Sign On.

ORA

Oxford University Research Archive (ORA) contains research publications and other research output produced by members of the University of Oxford. Content includes copies of journal articles, conference papers, theses and other types of research publications. The full text of many of these items is freely available to be used in accordance with copyright and end-user permissions.

OXAM

Oxford Examination Papers Online (OXAM) provide online access for members of the University to the formal examination papers set by the University of Oxford since academic year 1999/2000. The examination papers are provided in portable document format (pdf).

Oxford Digital Library for Forestry

Oxford's forestry collections are world renowned. The Oxford Digital Library for Forestry offers a growing range of digitised resources for free download.
