These policies are much simplified and provided for initial guidance only. All University Card-holders will be admitted in the appropriate reader category. Apart from invited academic visitors, non-members of the University are admitted only in exceptional circumstances. Non-University card-holders should apply to the Librarian (hilla.wait@philosophy.ox.ac.uk) to discuss eligibility.
Registrations
All new readers should register at the Philosophy Library before using the library. Term-time registrations take place on Monday to Friday every hour at half past the hour beginning at 10.30 am to 5.30 pm and on Saturday at 11.00 and 12.00 noon. Please bring a University Card. The library information sheet provides much useful guidance for new readers.
