There is a Listening Room in the library with equipment for playing various media, including cassettes, LPs and CDs. In addition, there are four computers in the Listening Room for listening to the online music service Naxos Music Library, and for using the music writing programme Sibelius6. The Listening Room is on the lower ground floor of the Library.

The Audio-Visual Resources Room is on the second floor. There are two televisions, two video players and one DVD player for viewing the Library's collection of opera and films.
