Books in the MFL are classified according to the Library of Congress Classification scheme (LCC).
So how do I find the book that I need..?
Look up the book on SOLO and check the 'Find and Request' tab:
Here you can see that 3 copies of the book are located on the first floor of the MFL. The 'call number' is a long number with a date at the end (ML410.S932 CRO 1998) indicating that it is in the Library of Congress sequence, on the first floor. Note that all of the copies are 'Available' and should therefore be on the shelves. If an item is on loan there is a date in the 'Status' field, indicating when it is due back. You may place reservations on items that are on loan. See the SOLO LibGuide for instructions on how to do so.
If you can't find the item that you're looking for please don't hesitate to ask the library staff.
