Renewing Your Library Books
To renew books online, go to SOLO
1. Sign in at the top right-hand corner with your Single Sign On (University members) or choose non-Oxford members (if you have a library card with an orange stripe).
2. Click on My Account at the top right-hand corner to view and renew your books

Renewal will not be allowed if
- the item has been reserved by another reader
- the book is overdue
- you have outstanding fines
You can also renew books:
In person
just present your library card at the helpdesk.
By telephone on [01865] 221936, 24 hours a day
When renewing books by answer phone, the only information you need to give is your name, library card number and contact phone number.
By e-mail to hcl-renewals@bodleian.ox.ac.uk
Just send your name, library card number and contact phone number.
Please note that if any of your library books are required by another reader, we cannot renew the book[s] concerned.
Also, if you have any outstanding fines, you will not be able to renew your books until all fines have been cleared.
In both situations, either library staff or the library system will warn you of this.
