The Bodleian Health Care Libraries operate across two sites within Oxford. See below to find out how to access each site.

Cairns Library, John Radcliffe Hospital

The Oxford University Hospitals site provides information on how to get to the JR hospital. Follow the directions below to find the library:

  • Follow signs to the Academic Centre, situated between the Main Entrance and a portakabin building
  • Walk up one flight of stairs (or take the lift) and turn right
  • Follow the corridor straight ahead. The Cairns library is at the end of the corridor.

Knowledge Centre, Old Road Campus

The Oxford University Hospitals site provides information on how to get to the Churchill site and the Old Road Campus. Follow the directions below to find the library:

  • Go to the new green Research Building off Roosevelt Drive
  • The library is next to the main entrance.
