The Bodleian Health Care Libraries house a collection of over 20,000 books. These are available during staffed hours. Your library membership entitles you to borrow books from all three sites, and return books to whichever site is most convenient. You can borrow books for 2 weeks, and fines for late renewal/return are charged at the rate of 50p per day. There is a Postal Loans service for Primary Care staff. Renewing books You can renew your library books, unless they have been reserved for another reader or you have fines on your record. You can renew your books online at OLIS: choose Connect via the Web then Start then Patron Functions. Alternatively you can visit one of the libraries, call 01865 221936 (24 hour answerphone), or email renewals@hcl.ox.ac.uk. Please make sure you give us your full name and library card number. Reserving books If a book you need is already on loan you can reserve it by visiting one of the libraries or emailing renewals@hcl.ox.ac.uk. We will let you know when the book is ready for you to collect from the library you choose. We'll keep it under your name for one week. Recommending books Please ask a librarian if you would like us to purchase a book for you and your colleagues. |
