Workshops
|
We provide practical workshops for groups of three or more. These enable you to develop the skills you need for finding the best available evidence in your own field. The key skills covered include question formulation, and developing search strategies for web-based resources such as topic reviews databases and bibliographic databases. We also offer a 'Study skills for courses' session, which is aimed at those who are just about to start a work-related educational course or dissertation. Save valuable study time and improve your course marks by learning how to find and cite references quickly and accurately. Workshops are usually held in the Cairns Library Beeson Training Room at the JR. We also provide presentations and workshops at other locations. External users can hire our facilities and trainers at reasonable rates. Phone Oxford (2)21936 or email us for more information. |
