The Photocopying Room, situated on the Reading Room floor, in the passageway between the Reading Room and the Wing Stack (turn left as you come in at the entrance, and follow the signs) has 4 printer/copying machines.

There is also one printer/copier on the Lower Floor, outside the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer IT Room.
All the law library's machines can scan to email or USB memory sticks/keys.

Other information regarding printing
Timing of print jobs
You can delay printing until later in the day, but you should allow sufficient time for printing before the Library closes. The print release workstation will be switched off 20 minutes before the Library closes. Print jobs will be held for 72 hours before being automatically deleted.
Privacy of print jobs
Access to your print queue is protected by your PCAS username and password. It is therefore important that you remember to log out at printer/copier when you have finished, do not just walk away!
Printing directly from a printer/copier
This is possible provided the files are in PDF, TIFF or JPEG format. (Other file formats have to be sent via a computer before they can be printed.) There are full instructions beside each printer/copier : you will need to insert a USB memory stick/key with the file(s) you want to print into the printer/copier's USB port.
Printing restrictions
Observation of copyright is your responsibility. Please observe the instructions on the database or web site you print from.
Further assistance
Please ask Library staff for help if you have problems printing.
Print job errors
Unfortunately money cannot be refunded if the print job is not what you needed. It is your responsibility to select what you want to print. Refunds will only be given in cases of equipment failure.
