Slaughter and May support the Law Library in several key areas.
Support provided enables us to purchase new materials in competition law across all relevant jurisdictions, and in electronic as well as paper format. This provides strong teaching and research support in this area.
Law Library Research Classes and Projects
Through the generous support of Slaughter and May for this area of library service, the law library provides an extended programme of timetabled refresher classes for later year undergraduates, to allow them to re-visit some of the research skills learnt at an earlier stage. We also provide database training sessions, and survival research skills classes as well. To complement these classes, we have produced a wide range of user guides which are available in paper and electronically.
- USB Keys
Support provided enable us to provide USB keys ('flash drives', memory sticks) to first year undergraduate students, and postgraduate students. The keys contain four core legal research documents for student information .
- Law Library Holdings List and Database
Support has enabled the printing of multiple copies of the BLL Holdings List of Law Library Law Reports and Journals. This has been added to the website as a database.
