Scan & Deliver extended to all readers

As of 11 March 2013, the Bodleian Librariesí Scan & Deliver service will be available to all current Bodleian Libraries card holders for a six month trial period. Previously this service was only available to University of Oxford staff and students.

Instead of requesting a physical item to a reading room, you can request scans of sections direct to your desktop.

How do I make a Scan & Deliver request?

  1. First of all, you must be a registered user of the Bodleian Libraries. See Admissions to find out how to register.
  2. If you are a registered reader, you need to log on to SOLO as usual (top right corner). If you are not sure how to log on, read our guidance.
  3. Search for the book and journal as usual. If it is held in our offsite Book Storage Facility in Swindon, you will have the option to ask for a scan in the Find & Request tab. Click on Scan & Deliver and go through the next steps.

Visit the Scan & Deliver page to find out how much it costs, how to pay, how long it will take, etc.
