This is the accessibility statement for Bodleian Libraries websites. Specifically, it covers www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/ and its child websites. Other sites which are linked to from these sites are not covered by this statement. Work is continuing to further improve the accessibility and usability of the site.

Navigation aids

Top level pages use a consistent navigation system (visually, a navigation bar across the top of the page, and links on the left of internal pages).  A breadcrumb trail appears on each page to show the context of the page within the site.

Tables

Tables are used mainly for the presentation of tabular data.

Images

Most content images include descriptive ALT attributes.

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still readable. The website also uses relative font sizes, that allow text size to be changed in visual browsers.
