How librarians can help

Staff in Bodleian and College libraries will be very happy to help you with any problems or questions you have about using the libraries, from understanding your reading list and finding particular items to helping you with passwords and access to e-books and journals. You can ask staff for help in person, by phone, instant messaging or by e-mail. You can find contact details for all the libraries on our Library A-Z. Link to: Library A-Z

Subject Librarians provide specialist support for particular faculties, departments and courses. They can help with more in-depth library questions, such as expert help on how to use particular electronic resources or locating difficult to find material. You can also contact subject librarians with requests to buy new books for the library.

A list of Subject Librarians can be found on the Bodleian Libraries website. Link to: Subject Librarian list
