What if I can't read print resources?

The Bodleian Libraries have an alternative format centre to support the needs of readers who are unable to use printed material.

ARACU (Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit) is able to produce materials in various formats:

  • Electronic text
  • Daisy audio
  • Braille
  • Tactile Diagrams

How do I use your services?

To be able to use ARACU's services, you need to be registered with the Disability Advisory Service (DAS) as we only work with disabled students. Link to: Disability Advisory Service website.

ARACU charges for the service we provide. The DAS may be able to help you to access the necessary funds
